Why Did I Receive an Error With My Background Check?

Every Wonoloer completes a background check before they can pick up jobs through the app. 

If you receive an error trying to complete your background check, it means that our third-party background check provider, Evident, was unable to return a result with the information you provided.

If this is the case, you will receive an email on the steps needed to correct the error. You can expect to search for an email entitled: [Attention] Additional information is required to complete your background check.

Evident will request you to upload a valid ID and selfie within 72 hours of receiving the email. 

Please be sure to upload a clear copy of your ID within 72 hours:

  • The image must be high quality, unobstructed and un-cropped.
  • The image must show the full document.

Pro-tips when uploading an image of your ID:

  • Lay your ID on a flat surface.
  • Ensure you're in a well-lit area.
  • The photo should not contain any shadows.
