When you post a 1099 job on Wonolo, you include the total pay and the estimated time to complete the work (duration). This helps us make sure that your job complies with recommended minimum pay in your city. This also helps Wonoloers understand the expectations for your position and know how much they will be paid for their work.
If a Wonoloer completes the tasks outlined in your Job Description before the estimated end time, you are required to pay the full amount that was posted in your job description.
However, you may make adjustments to pay if:
- There is a mutual agreement between you and the Wonoloer that the job may end prior to the posted end time, so pay will be adjusted down.
- It is clear in the job description that payment will be adjusted based on actual length of the job.
